In October 2025, the Pirates reached out to Tokens for holiday gifting purposes. They were looking to craft 150 baseball bat ice cream scoops, which would be paired with a carton of the team's official ice cream, Bucco Batter.
As Tokens happened to have two Pirates bats on hand already, we only needed six more. The Pirates sent us the necessary bats and we got started on the process of crafting the scoops.
One bat yields between 18-20 scoops. The majority of the ice cream scoops look like the above, with a clean engraving on one side stating the provenance and topped off with a high quality scoop finding and a rich gold cord.
For every bat however, it yields one special knob scoop, made from the handle and knob top of the bat. We were able to craft a total of six of these unique knob ice cream scoops.
Each knob is unique and one of a kind.
Every scoop came with a custom gift card that doubled as a certificate of authenticity.
