In 2022 George Washington University approached Tokens & Icons to craft donor gifts for the re-opening event of their newly renovated Freshman dorm residence, Thurston Hall, an icon playing a central role in campus life.
GW University sent Tokens & Icons 158 tiles of he wood flooring from the residence hall that was excavated during renovation. We cut, re-finished and laser engraved each tile and created 163 sets of 4 coasters and a custom Thank You card for their donors.
