2025 will be the last for a New York icon: the Metrocard. Tokens wanted to take a swipe at celebrating these colorful reminders of New York Transit's past. As Tokens tilts toward the authentic, we approached the MTA's printer of the full sized Metrocards to do a custom run of Metrocard miniatures (7/8" x 5/8") for us. Surprisingly, they said yes. Set in sterling silver as cuff links.
NOTE: As of 6/30/26 Tokens has phased out our 35-year-long relationship with the MTA to craft gifts for national retailers, catalogues, and online websites. We will continue to craft products for the NY Transit Museum Stores on an exclusive basis, which you can find at Grand Central Terminal, Lower Broadway, and in Brooklyn, as well as online here.
