California Memorial Stadium Artifacts
2009 Bench Removal
Cal Athletics officially licensed Tokens & Icons to offer gift items and selected the company to be an official partner for furniture from the historic venue's benches. As much of the wood was painted long ago with lead based paint, Tokens & Icons carefully hand-selected and worked solely with the more recent lead-free painted benches. Tokens & Icons hand-picked and transported bench wood and stanchions previous to the renovation of California Memorial Stadium.
Practice Path Tradition
Most Dijon bench wood paint may be extremely chipped as these were extracted from Section CC. Cleat-wearing team players - fulfilling a practice tradition - used these seats of these rows as their stairs to reach the field.
Special Artifacts
These special artifacts from California Memorial Stadium were removed with Cal's permission right before the beginning of the renovation in 2010. While some artifacts have been converted into furniture, such as conference tables created from the South End Gates, other artifacts, like the still functional Hall of Fame bar, have been carefully stored and are ready for re-installation. Tokens & Icons has taken care to remove these artifacts in an effort to preserve icons of Memorial Stadium's past for the Cal faithful. Hall of Fame Bar
Memorial Stadium’s Hall of Fame bar is looking for a new home. The iconic brass beer taps and foot rail are still intact and will be polished to make a once-in-a-lifetime Cal statement celebrating its rich legacy for pre-game, half-time, and post game excitement. With a donation towards Cal’s Athletic Department, you can install a piece of the Golden Bear’s history into your restaurant or residence. Please contact for price.
Memorial Stadium Gates Conference Table
Tokens & Icons envisions creating conference tables from several pairs of Cal Memorial Stadium Gates from the South end. Please contact for price.
7/8" thick glass set on top of gate. Above table in Tokens & Icons' headquarters. Stainless steel legs welded to 4 corners and details of gate incorporated into table design. Restored with signs of age and wear still visible.
BB and C Gold Zone Sign
This portal sign for the BB/C sections in the Gold Zone is more than seven feet long and almost four feet tall. Memorable for anyone who cheered for their Golden Bears from the North West corner of the Stadium. Please contact for price.
