This watch is hand crafted from an MLB Authenticated Game Used Baseball, featuring the unmistakable red stitching and scratches and scuffs that let you know it has seen game-play. Brushed stainless caseback hallmarked with your team name. Italian cognac leather strap with contrast stitching. Mineral crystal, battery operated Swiss movement. Each watch comes gift-boxed with an authentication instruction card. Officially licensed by Major League Baseball.

Watches have a 40mm stainless steel bezel. Durable leather strap measures 197mm (approx. 7-3/4"), standard for most wrists.

Production starts with a ball coming off the field of play. MLB stations authenticators field-side at each game to track and record balls and enter the into the database. After the balls are transferred to Tokens, an MLB authenticator makes weekly visits to our facility to witness the laser cutting and preparation of the ball discs that will become the dials for the watch. Once overseas, the discs are encased under a mineral crystal, the back is engraved and the watch is completed. On the face is a custom MLB hologram that ensures authenticity, the number can be searched at MLB.com to learn specific details of the ball's game history.

MLB Authentication

The MLB Authentication Program was launched in 2001 so that memorabilia purchasers could have a comfort level that authenticated materials are in fact 100% genuine and can be referenced in an online database. It was the late 90's when Tony Gwynn happened to walk into the San Diego Padres team store and noticed fake signatures of his on items for sale.

The incident led to an FBI investigation which resulted in MLB hiring Authenticators from law enforcement in every city Major League teams play. These individuals are field-side at every game and witness balls going into the dirt, bats breaking, etc. They immediately receive a tamper-proof hologram produced by OpSec, U.S.

These same Authenticators visit Tokens facility to track and witness the game used materials going through production and place the final hologram on the finished item. This is your assurance that your purchase was made from genuine MLB game used artifacts.
