The 1970's found most Major League Ballparks converting to plastic seats from wood. This product is crafted from the old, wooden seats. Due to the age of the wood and uniqueness of the seats, no two products will be exactly the same. The painted surfaces may be multicolored due to layers of paint.

Additional Product Information

Crosley Field, originally named Redland Field, was built upon the site of two previous ballparks - League Park and Palace of the Fans - and completed in 1912 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1919, it was the site of the "Black Sox" World Series and, in 1935, hosted the first MLB night game after the installation of 632 lamps. Throughout its history, it was one of the smallest stadiums in the major leagues and noted for its "terrace," a fifteen-degree incline on the left-field that was known to both frustrate and be favored by players. In 1972 it was demolished but not forgotten as the Great American Ball Park entrance features the Crosley Terrace monument incorporating inclines and famous players from that era.
