Product Details

If you can't make it to the stadium for the game, maybe the stadium can make it to you. These unique bottle openers are crafted from wood stadium seats from Universities where football pride is graduation requirement.

Notre Dame, Michigan & Cal feature the weathered surfaces with scratches and scuffs of years of use. Ohio State was virgin redwood bench seating on reserve for installation. For some extra panache on Notre Dame, select pieces are available with a portion of the seat number (as each are unique, number and position will vary from image)

Laser engraved with the University name. Tokens-designed quality nickel-plated hardware. Handy loop at back for hanging out until pressed into service.
All items come in a Collegiate themed gift box.

Collegiate stadium seat openers are 6-1/2" long not including the cord loop.

Officially licensed by CLC (Collegiate Licensing Company) & the University.

The salvaged stadium seat wood used to make these bottle openers have been procured directly from the Universities or official University partners.

An authenticity card is included with each opener.

Note, in the case of Ohio Stadium the wood is reserve redwood which was part of the original shipment of seat wood to Ohio Stadium and was set aside for future repairs and replacement. Later the Stadium switched to plastic and aluminum seats.

Notre Dame Stadium

Notre Dame Stadium opened in October of 1930, only six months after its ground breaking. The head coach Knute Rockne spearheaded the project and was involved in the design. The plans were created by Osborn Engineering, a firm that worked on Yankee Stadium, Polo Grounds and Comiskey Park. The stadium is known for its view of The Word of Life, a mural on the adjacent Hesburgh Library, of resurrected Jesus, whose arms are raised. The figure looks like a referee calling a touchdown and, thus, it is known as "Touchdown Jesus."

Tokens makes a wide variety of items from not only the Stadium wood but also Notre Dame Game Used uniforms, footballs and helmets. Your chance for a home field touchdown.

Cal Memorial Stadium Renovation

From the time California Memorial Stadium opened in 1923, Golden Bear fans faithfully cheered from blue and gold seats for 88 seasons, creating scores of unforgettable memories for generations of football fans. In 2009 & 2010 Cal Memorial was renovated & Cal Athletics officially licensed Tokens & Icons to offer gift items and selected us to be an official partner for accessories & furniture from the historic venue's benches. We hand-picked and transferred the bench wood to our warehouse facility in Berkeley, California.

In addition to the Cal Memorial wood items, Tokens also works with Cal game used uniforms, footballs and helmets. Several paths to elicit a "where on earth did you get that?" from the Bears fan in your life.
