Additional Product Information
Allen Fieldhouse opened in 1955 as home to the Kansas Jayhawk's men's basketball team. It was named after Dr. Forrest C. "Phog" Allen, a former coach. Allen Fieldhouse has hosted 37 NCAA Championship Tournaments, has statistically the greatest home-court advantage and was called "the best place in America to watch college basketball" by sportswriter Mark Whicker. 2009 marked the end of a major renovation in which a new court was installed. The old court floor is used to craft this item.
